HOLIDAY PLANNING
Last week my boyfriend and I booked our first holiday together. I am so excited! We are flying to Venice for a 5 day visit and then jetting off to Rome for 4 days. It's going to be really lovely as neither of us have been to these places before so we have a lot of exploring to do! Initially, we couldn't decide whether to visit Venice or Rome. So we decided, why not do both?
Besides exploring these beautiful cities, I'm most looking forward to drinking cocktails, shopping and eating a LOT of pizza. My favourite things. Today I have been browsing the web for some top tips on what to do/see in Venice and Rome which led me to discovering what is *apparently* the best place in Rome for ice-cream. Woohoo! I'm so ready for some sunshine in my life; winter is getting tiresome.
SUMMER ALSO MEANS FRESH TENDS! (at last...)
I've been so disappointed with what has been ''on trend'' recently. Hence why I haven't done a big shopping haul. Over the last couple of weeks I've been seeing some previews of SS14 and I'm really excited. I'm already pining over these lovely designs and have to stop myself buying holiday clothes as I need to save save save. And besides, it's only February. I'm a huge fan of floral and I'm loving all the fresh prints and patterns surfacing. They are so pretty. My wardrobe consists of floral prints and black. There isn't really anything between so most of the winter I've been wearing a lot of black (which I do adore) and feeling a bit miserable. Maroon is my top colour at the moment so I'm glad to see it's been carried through to spring/summer. Also a big yay for pastel shades!
